Upload trouble: spaces are not removed from file-names

Does any body know how to fix this?

It's a real problem, especially because the editors keep putting files and folders with spaces...
I think TL is supposed to fix this automatically, but somehow it doesn't...

Tl supports spaces in filenames, so of course it won't remove the spaces.

I have the same problem with lots of users that don't remove the spaces or use-dashes-either, allthough it's only the newsletters we send that suffer from it. I'm pretty sure either the host server, or Contao is putting %20's in the url's (or whatever it is the correct code is)

In either case, I've not found a solution as yet.

I believe Contao will urlencode the strings for names with spaces that end up in a URL - but the newsletter is another thing and I'm not sure what going on there.
