Please help!! How to manage members??

I'm really loosing my patience!
I've been using Contao (and Typolight before that) for some years now, and have struggled with this question from the start, unable to find a solution!

I need to be able to both import and export members from Contao, preferably to csv.
I have tried the extension xtmembers_outlook, and it doesn't work!
I have tried to import directly via phpmyadmin, and it doesn't work!
I'm not a developer, so I'm not that good with coding and databases. I would like to have a solution where I can handle many users at the same time. Otherwhise I have to manually edit the users and that is almost imposible.

One problem is that I need to be able to edit the group/groups which the members belong to, so I would like the system to realize when I want to just edit the table tl_member and not create a new user. I would like to be able to import members which data so that each person gets into their gropu (we have 277 groups in our site!).

Can someone please help me!??!!
I have asked about this before, but no one seams to have an answer.
I'm getting really frustrated :cry:

What version of Contao are you running Annika?
And what version of xtmembers_outlook?

Contao 2.10.3 and xtmembers_outlook 1.0.0 beta3 build 6.

Then I'm guessing xtmembers_outlook doesn't work for you because you have custom (non-core) member fields added, and it doesn't know how to interpret them. Have you read/asked on the german forum - the author is Helmut Schottmüller (hschottm) and his website is http://www.aurealis.de/.
I presume if this extension would work in your case then you would have your solution? Hes the best hope to analyse why it doesn't.
