Can't create Checkbox field in Contao 2.10.4

Hello,

I'm testing xt_members_fieldeditor in an especially freshly installed Contao 2.10.4 but I can't create checkbox field.

I create it called Spécialités / specs with 3 options :
1 / Immobilier résidentiel
2 / Immobilier d'entreprise
3 / Fonds de commerce

Then I export this field (which becomes xt_specs) in the extension called eefic_experts. I update the database.
Then I go to Members in the backend and I got a blank page. I go back to Members field, I click on this field and I have a blank page too.

What's the problem ?

I've just made a new test : no problem with Contao 2.10.
I've resintalled from scratch 2.10.4 : still the blank pages.
I haven't 2.10.3 to test with.
Strange.

Check "Display Error Messages" in "Security settings" in Settings.


It may be choking on the apostrophies (d'entreprise) or special characters (Spécialités)

Does no error print to screen when you activate "Display Error Messages"?

I tried to put the Contao zipfile here, but its over the forum size limit. Sourceforge should have it i would think.

I've activated "Display error messages" and you were right. The problem comes from the apostrophe in "d'entreprise". I made the test with Contao 2.10 and I have exactly the same problem.

I tried to change the description in Member Fields with "d\'entreprise" but it didn't work. It only works when I modify it directly in the file modules/eefic_experts/languages/fr/tl_member.php .

Do you think this coud be corrected in xtmember_fieldeditor ?

Post the error message output here, so we can see where its happening.
You could also (maybe) rename the field to something without an apostrophe????
