External image inside "add image" section

Hello!

I have a small question about image functionality in Contao:

Is there any way to use external image inside "add image" block not in "MCE text editor".
I understand that if I check image from file system contao will able to resize and cache it.
But right now I would like to use external image without any modification,(only position: left/right/center...)

What you request does not exist yet, but Contao could resize and cache external resources. Feature request?

You just enter the link to the remote image as an HTML element. There is no option for a remote image.
