    mysql logs füllen Platte

    Ich weiß hat nicht wirklich was mit TL zu tun aber vielleicht kann mir jemand ja einen Tipp geben. System ist Debian laufen tut MySQL 5.1 folgendes ist der Fall.

    Alle 2 Stunden wird ein log (mysql-bin.003401 (laufende Nummer)) erstellt welches 100MB groß ist. Nun ist es so das diese die Platte zum überlaufen bringen (da auf einmal 50 GB) vorhanden sind. in der /etc/mysql/my.cnf gibts einen Punkt mit Logs

    log_bin = /var/log/mysql/mysql-bin.log

    expire_logs_days = 10
    max_binlog_size = 100

    Allerdings sind die Logfiles teilweise 3 - 4 Monate alt. Kann man ev. irgendwo einstellen das es lediglich Logs der letzten 20 Tage oder so speicher und die anderen einfach verwirft?

    meinst du im /etc/mysql/conf.d Verzeichnis? diese ist nämlich leer die my.cnf sieht folgendermaßen aus:
    Code:
    #
    # The MySQL database server configuration file.
    #
    # You can copy this to one of:
    # - "/etc/mysql/my.cnf" to set global options,
    # - "~/.my.cnf" to set user-specific options.
    #
    # One can use all long options that the program supports.
    # Run program with --help to get a list of available options and with
    # --print-defaults to see which it would actually understand and use.
    #
    # For explanations see
    # http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/server-system-variables.html
