Kurz zusammengefasst: Contao 5.6 ist eigentlich nicht mehr zu 100% mit Symfony 6.4 kompatibel. Wenn du also Extensions installiert hast, die Symfony 7 Komponenten noch nicht erlaubt, kann es zu diesem Problem kommen.

Ich hab eigentlich nur Rocksolid-Standard installiert. Da ist so gut wie nie was angegeben, bis auf den Frontend-Helper. Ich hab mich jetzt mal an deren Support gewandt.

Gibts eine Empfehlung, wie man vorgehen sollte. Ich meine, klärt sich das mit einem zukünftigen Update? Mag sein, dass ich als Hobbybastler nicht (mehr) die Zielgruppe von Contao bin. Ich hab das Gefühl, nichts mehr im Griff zu haben.

Oder einen statischen Sitebuilder nutzen, würde schneller sein als mit Bootstrap und bisschen PHP.
Und bisschen PHP könnte auch "bisschen Sicherheitslücke" sein, je nachdem wie sehr man da drin ist.

Du hast noch nicht deine composer.json gesendet, vielleicht ist es nicht Rocksolid sondern, wie du sagst, eine der Plugins auf die du dich eher beschränkt hast.
Und vielleicht haben sich Entwickler anderer Plugins auch noch nicht mit Symfony 7 beschäftigt (da kein Funding, keine Zeit, kein Interesse daran - wie du bspw).
Auch garantiert dir ein in 2015 gekauftes Theme nicht Updates und Kompatibilität auf Lebenszeit.

Man sollte sich m.E. immer auf die absolut notwendigen Plugins beschränken. Ich gehe bei meinen Kunden mit Erweiterungen auch eher spartanisch um und überlege mir sehr gut von wem ich Erweiterungen nutze.

Die Idee ist auch nicht falsch, berücksichtigt aber nicht, dass viele Erweiterungshersteller ihre Erweiterungen nicht kostenfrei mit jeder Contao-Version kompatibel halten können, gerade wenn es Veränderungen im Unterbau gibt. Die Pflege von Erweiterungen kostet viel Geld und Zeit. Irgendjemand muss für die Weiterentwicklung "bezahlen".
Auch als Hobbydesigner solltest Du dafür Verständnis haben.
Bei einer neuen LTS-Version bemühen sich die Erweiterungshersteller in der Regel um Kompatibilität. Das trifft zumindest auf die Erweiterungen zu, die aktiv gepflegt werden. Dann "bezahlen" es nämlich häufig die Kunden des Erweiterungsherstellers oder jemand aus der Community benötigt die Erweiterung und investiert in die Weiterentwicklung.

Den provokanten Nachsatz hättest Du Dir sparen können. Die Erweiterungen von Rocksolid sind in der Regel bestens gepflegt und machen selten mal Probleme, wie Du vielleicht auch schon bemerkt hast. Ich denke Deine Nachfrage wird beantwortet werden.

@mlweb das Problem tritt bspw. auf wenn man madeyourday/contao-rocksolid-frontend-helper installiert hat. Betrifft also insofern alle mit RockSolid Themes unter Contao 5.6. Kann natürlich aber auch mit anderen Erweiterungen auftreten.

Dann könnte man als Zwischenlösung auf den Frontendhelper verzichten. Ist ja auch bei den Themes nicht zwingend erforderlich zu installieren.
